How much does a closet system cost? Our designers customize each closet to your individual needs. There are many things we can do with your closet. We can install long hang, double hang, shelves, baskets, pull-out trays, tie & belt racks, valet rods, drawers and jewelry drawers. We price our systems on a spreadsheet so everyone is charged the same price for each system purchased. No awkward negotiating. Each closet system varies in cost depending on what features you have chosen and the size of the space. It would be reasonable to expect the cost to run between $55 and $90 per linear foot including installation. Our minimum per job order is $1,000. Remember, "No One Builds a Better Closet Than We Do!" Back to TopWhat is the average installation time?Installation time varies according to the size of the job. Most closets can be installed in 2-4 hours but very large jobs may take a day or two. In most cases we can have your custom crafted closet to you in appx. 14 business days after we receive the order. Back to TopWhat do you think about the online do-it-yourself options?Although the reduced price of the do-it-yourself online closet companies may seem attractive at first glance, the reality of a freight truck pulling up in front of your home with a pallet of wood product that needs to be carried into your house can be quite frightening. Just a fraction of an inch off in measurements will make the system not fit and require modification. Any part that is missing or damaged in shipment will require replacement and prevent you from moving forward with your closet installation until it is replaced. Professional closet designers are skilled at designing around obstructions and contending with hang clearances, varying ceiling heights and angled walls. If not properly installed, the closet system will eventually collapse from the weight of your clothing and you will be left without recourse. If you are the type of person who avoids products in the store that say "assembly required", don't even consider undertaking the project. Best left to the guys with the tools and knowledge of how to use them! Closet design & installation is not nearly as easy as one may be lead to believe. Back to TopWhat grade of material do you use?Closets Etc. uses only the finest 3/4" industrial grade melamine and laminates. Some closet companies cut costs by using 5/8" materials which are 20% thinner and not as strong as the materials we use. Other companies use 3/4" "commercial" grade materials which are 15% less dense and not as strong as the "industrial" grade materials we use. Closets Etc. uses, without exception, the finest materials in the industry, bar none. We never compromise quality for cost and always deliver the best value in the market we serve. Back to TopCan I install my own closets and save money. The short answer is probably not. Our professional installers are trained to properly install your closets correctly. Our Lifetime Warranty is good only if we install your closets. Back to TopWhat kind of mess should I expect?Since the closets are built and customized in our own factory, there is virtually no mess. We treat your home as if it were our own and we are licensed and bonded for your peace of mind and protection. Back to Top
